  I love the store, but hate the new layout. Who in their right mind would design a store with a checkout in the middle instead of at the entrance / exit area?

  The store used to be much better with the exception of limited wheelchair accessible checkouts, but staff have been great and would open the wheelchair accessible checkout for us.

  Friendly helpful staff. Product range easier to see and find. The store is a lot more brighter now and cleaner looking.

  The biggest convenience being this is store open 24 hours no matter what time of the day you can go there and shop I have been do this Kmart 3 o'clock in the morning sometime very early in the morning to beat the traffic fantastic I love the convenience of 24 hours

  Good arrangement in the store... only customer representatives should have knowledge about products which is lacking in some of them... but they are trying to get you right info.... only it does matter when you are in hurry...

  There's less checkouts as well, which means a longer wait to pay. There's more emphasis on using the self serve checkouts which we totally refuse to do. But for people like us, there's usually one checkout open.

  The checkout is smaller and slower, and located in the middle of the store. Customers have to go to the checkout and pay, then walk through half the store to exit. There's way too many easily taken items between the checkout and the door. The security doesn't even check our bags, he just waved us through as we had tried to show the contents of our bags. If I was the type, I could have grabbed a heap of clothes and stuffed our bags while navigating the racks.

  Better stock and better customer service than other branches. Same lay as other stores making it easy to find the section you want.

  I wouldn't be surprised if they lose business over the new layout, and also have an increase in theft.
